It is not easy to get good photographs of women in Afghanistan. They are notoriously camera-shy and frequently cover their faces whenever someone has a camera. I am extremely careful when I photograph women, and always ask their permission. But when I do get a willing subject I try to use the opportunity to portray the beauty and the variety of the women in this incredibly diverse country. I could not help but fall in love with this old woman's face, not to mention her bubbly personality....

Jy sien sussie, dis sulke tipe portrette wat ek graag in my huis wil ophang. Miskien nie noodwendig hierdie een nie, maar hierdie tipe foto's van jou!
Jy moet net mooi die National Geographic en daardie tipe mags dophou dat mense nie jou foto;s hierso steel en publish nie. Jy kan nog ver gaan met hierdie foto's - maar jong, hulle sal mos nou lekker jou foto's kan steel!!

Hoop jy gaan dit maak op die vliegtuig more en vir Chris sien vir die naweek. Ek was die hele dag "offline" met ons server ek konnie uitvind of jy toe terugvoer gekry het vir die vlug more nie.
